Here is a list of events scheduled at Conifer Canine. Unless otherwise noted, these events are held at the Training Center, 717 Beaver Hollow Rd, Spencer, IN. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the Office.
Law Enforcement K9Appreciation Luncheon
A luncheon prepared for the K9 teams that we have trained to express our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Reactive DogWorkshop
9am-12pm. There will be classroom instruction as well as hands-on training. The subjects of dog-to-human reactivity and dog-to-dog reactivity will be specifically focused upon. Each attendee may bring 1 dog with them to include in the workshop. Dog will need proof of vaccination to attend. Cost to attend is $50 paid in advance after rsvp. Seminar:Building the Relationship that your Dog Craves
9am-12pm. This seminar will discuss how the dog thinks, what his psychological needs are, and how to communicate with the dog in a way that he understands. It will include tips to help with not reinforcing poor behavior, anthropomorphism, and clear human leadership. If you’re struggling with your dog, this just may be the impetus for the your turnaround! The principles taught can be applied to obedience issues, behavioral problems, and even some timidity issues.
